The power light lights up for a sec, then it switches off on its own.. I'm using a 110v adapter but with a transformer. I'm not sure what the problem is now. HELP! Aman27deep Posted October 29, 2008 Report Share Posted October 29, 2008 same tthing happened to my ps2 a month ago, after the monsoons it wasn't booting. later when i went to the dealer he said power brick and modchip both went kaput.
