The whole game + dlc is one of the best things to come out this year but it’ll be ignored as a GOTY contender because it’s a remake

Booted up the demo.

It’s nothing like the remake.

The whole design from ground up is new.

Just the script & concept art used from from the previous one doesn’t mean it can’t run for GOTY as an original game.

It’s not the exact same game like in the case of Shadow of Colossus,Gears Ultimate,DemonSouls,TLOUP1,Dead Space.

It’s like FF7 & Previous RE remakes.

Complete redesign except the script & concept.

Just noticed that the DLC is developed by M-Two who made RE3 Remake. So seeing a lot of debate in other forums which is better.

RE3 Remake is a good game but didnt justify the price and butchering of the OG content. As for SW, around 60% reuses the same assets but for the price and content I dont have any issues.

Re3 was good minus the cut content. If SW is made by MTwo, they’ve done a really good job. I think they are capable of putting a good game together if they’re given time and obviously have inputs from the Capcom 1 team
