It’s nothing like the remake. The whole design from ground up is new. Just the script & concept art used from from the previous one doesn’t mean it can’t run for GOTY as an original game. It’s not the exact same game like in the case of Shadow of Colossus,Gears Ultimate,DemonSouls,TLOUP1,Dead Space. It’s like FF7 & Previous RE remakes. Complete redesign except the script & concept. Mikami is master of tension filled encounters. Agreed but the 1st fight in such a small open combat area gave me a lot of tension on higher difficulty unlike the OG. So seeing a lot of debate in other forums which is better. RE3 Remake is a good game but didnt justify the price and butchering of the OG content.
