The matchmaking system in Gears 2 is really poor , if you really wanna play matchmaking bro never search for a match alone get some guys in your lobby and then start searching. And now, I've found a few public specialists who are not only great players, but they're also fun to play with. Of course, you get to work on your rank and stuff, but at the end of the day, it all boils down to the thing that does it for you and ONLY you. You can't define FUN for other players.
