A.Kap Posted July 27, 2009 Report Share Posted July 27, 2009 Yea true bro,no offence also,but i dnt get it,u kill ur opponent who is facing 2-3 secs lag & obviously they cant use their shotguns,I find its unfair & i really dnt like to improve my rank like dat.. I know it's sad and you can't do sh*t, but that's how the system works, atleast in Gears of War 2 it does. From my personal experience, players from the Americas and Europe don't lag as much on our connections as we do on theirs. Also, they have the luxury of being able to find players in a matter of seconds, and we don't. So, it sort of evens the whole equation out. And surely its not wrong to play ranked matches , but its crazzy when people always wanna stick to ranked matches and avoid private matches just coz of the rank. Trust me in Gears2 if you get the host its not going to improve your game coz its gonna be soo easy to kill them all and wind up the match in few minutes. I've played and loved ranked matches in Halo3 coz its a complete different story when it comes to gears. Playing Private matches makes it more fun coz only 1 guy out 9 is the host and only 1 guy has an unfair edge above the opposite team , but in ranked its totally opposite. And now, I've found a few public specialists who are not only great players, but they're also fun to play with. Of course, you get to work on your rank and stuff, but at the end of the day, it all boils down to the thing that does it for you and ONLY you. You can't define FUN for other players. No offense Seriously, Tanveer, where are you getting at? I mean, why are you hellbent on rambling against public players? In the end, how exactly will this argument affect you? I respect you as a player and all, but I find it difficult to understand as to why a guy like you who is pretty much content on playing private matches with others everyday, would question the intent and the antics of a few other people who like playing public matches, for absolutely no reason whatsoever. I mean, most of these public players don't even know who you are. So, why are you bothered about what they should do and what they shouldn't do? I don"t mean to be harsh, but seriously, who the f**k are you to judge these people in the first place? Try to mind your own business dude.
