NIGHTMARE-
guys see this PS3 controller its works on PC also http://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-Zero-Wir...3584&sr=1-1 One industrious modder out there has created a simple program so you can use your PS3’s SIXAXIS controller on a PC like a game pad. Here’s what you’ll need to do: 1. Download this archive and install the filter driver (libusb-win32-filter-bin-0.1.10.1.exe). 2. Unpack ps3sixaxis_en.exe 3. Plug the SIXAXIS into your PC. 4. Run ps3sixaxis_en.exe once. 5. Push the PS button on the SIXAXIS once if it doesn’t see it straight away. Unfortunately, the motion sensing features aren’t possible on the PC (not yet as least). But still, this is pretty easy way to net yourself a free usable game pad. Download

mannubhai
Somehow mine just didn't work...my Vista detects it alright (as can be seen in the control panel) but it doesn't work on (at least) the games I tried.... BTW Has anyone noticed ...for whatever it's worth...a regular USB Windows Mouse works on the PS3 (I've only tried the one with 2 buttons so I have no idea if the mice with 4 buttons or scroll have any additional functionality... Works perfectly fine on xp....

Pushy
Vista x64 drivers out yet? Try some of the steps mentioned in the thread again!! Keep trying u will get!! good.gif the answer: havent tried it on Vista, but it works on XP SP3.game played with it...Pure, seriously, Pure PC version controls are suck a*s, u need a controller biggrin.gif wanted it to work for Failout3, but wasn't able to map the controls, like it wouldn't take the inputs when i press left analog stick forward to map the forward movement sad.gif
Shantz
why it doesn't work with PCs out of the box is because PS3 controllers require an extra "special" step to be done to make it work. The new drivers allow to complete that extra step (the one that comes into play when you press the PS button). On Linux, they have even made it work without USB, i.e., through normal Bluetooth connection by patching the BT drivers.

Solitaire
I been trying too, got those Japanese Drivers that some guy made for Dualshock 3 (yeah, with vibration). But it just gives me a "Code 10 : Device Cannot Start" error no matter what I do in Vista 32bit. Have tried everything but now I've just given up and the only reason I connect the controller to the PC is to charge it Haven't tried it on any of my other PCs on XP or Ubuntu or anything, but I'd rather avoid the hassle and just use my 360 controller on PC since it works without hassles and everything comes pre-mapped for the controller on most games these days. silentassassin
Install the drivers. If your computer reads the controller but you cannot press anything/doesnt play any games do this http://dodownload.filefront.com/12215... go to that link. Download it and install it, and run the program.(when it comes up it should say driver is ok, click load driver)(when you click load driver nothing is suppose to pop up on screen so dont freak out). Then go back to your controller properties and test it out!!!!
