Big Boss Posted July 4, 2011 Report Share Posted July 4, 2011 (edited) For some people, Good ports= Having a lot of graphics options and lots of better effects than Consoles, thus harnessing true powers of PCs, better controls,etc etc. For other people, Good Ports= Games running properly without any unrealistic hardware demand, as the game can run at 30 fps on consoles, still it requires quad core to run properly on PCs, hence not a good port. Now both are correct. But when it came to ports like GTA 4 and Saints Row 2, the second type of people said its bad port, as both PC games looked much better than console games, had a lot of graphics options which totally out did the console graphics, but ran like crap on most PCs. So, good port for some but a bad port for others. Now, Darksiders is a good port for second category, but a bad port for first.
