kemosabe Posted July 5, 2011 Report Share Posted July 5, 2011 purchased GW trilogy..faced a strange problem..i only got the credit card confirmation on my emil..no mail from steam..after that, I am trying purchase it as a gift for a fellow ivgian tukulu..and got error the message ""An unexpected error has occurred. Your purchase has not been completed.Please contact Steam Support.".. I contacted steam support with the problem..no solution yet. spindoctor Posted July 6, 2011 Report Share Posted July 6, 2011 steam support is going to be overloaded with requests at this time. i wouldn't expect a quick resolution to any support tickets. Â if you get a purchasing error where money has not changed hands, just try again after some time. sometimes their servers can get overloaded. if you still have a problem, call your credit card company. they will sometimes block your card for suspicious activity if you make too many purchases in a short period of time from the same place. this happened to me last year during the winter sale... had to call icici and tell them that i was buying games during a sale and that's when they unblocked my card.
