Snake
We continue our investigation of last year's intrusion with the help of outside security experts. In my last note about this, I described how intruders had accessed our Steam database but we found no evidence that the intruders took information from that database. That is still the case. Recently we learned that it is probable that the intruders obtained a copy of a backup file with information about Steam transactions between 2004 and 2008. This backup file contained user names, email addresses, encrypted billing addresses and encrypted credit card information. It did not include Steam passwords. We do not have any evidence that the encrypted credit card numbers or billing addresses have been compromised. However as I said in November it's a good idea to watch your credit card activity and statements. And of course keeping Steam Guard on is a good idea as well. We are still investigating and working with law enforcement authorities. Some state laws require a more formal notice of this incident so some of you will get that notice, but we wanted to update everyone with this new information now. Gabe http://store.steampowered.com/news/7323/ no passwords and the files are encrypted....no thing to worry about. I hope......

Irredeemable
Do you people even play and finish atleast half the games you buy? or is it all about owning games and never finishing them? I ask because of late Im starting to think I need to ground myself from buying new games. Trying to finish crysis 2's lengthy campaign yesterday, I realized I left off atleast 7 levels behind the final level on my previous play through around 4 months ago.. devil_angel
I have around 80% completion rate. That's because I buy very few games on my primary account, mostly SP
MoonStruckHorrors
Except a few HIB games, I've played almost all of the games in my library.

Ne0
Do you people even play and finish atleast half the games you buy? or is it all about owning games and never finishing them? The underlined part . Can't help it. I've so many games unfinished on my x360 and PS3 as well, along with PC. That's also one of the reasons, I now patiently wait for steam deals on PC, and buy them there, instead of splurging on the console versions.
