spindoctor
Steam and PC newb here and just wanted to confirm, most games on Steam will support the Xbox controller, right? I can't get myself to lay without the controller. Hlaf Life 2 is already proving super difficult. the store page should say whether controller support is enabled or not. check the right side of the page for these details. here's an example - http://store.steampowered.com/app/207610/ it says the game has controller support under the pegi rating. in general, most console ports and indie games should have controller support. most, but not all. you're best off doing research into each game before buying it. a good search or a trip to the game specific steam forum should be good enough. Irredeemable
tempted to buy the hitman collection, the only problem is, Ill have to get it running on my 2.4 Ghz celeron, with 1 GB ram, and 128 mb video card... Can anyone tell me if hitman: blood money will work on this spec? I saw the minimum requirements and it looks like it will... All the indie games also require > 256 mb video cards these days

Big Boss
DAFUQ? It is showing 4.99 on US server to me: So the prices are very different depending on regions. That is the reason why I am never able to buy Steam games from my office as I always get a error while completing transaction. They should be trying to sell it at lower prices for asian customers if anything... EDIT: Only the community choice game seems to be priced differently... The other games from your screenshot are at the same price ... Edited July 16, 2012 by Irredeemable
Snake
EA is kind of an a-hole when it comes to regional pricing

Oh is this so ? I too have been trying to buy a game at office today, but its showing error.. I think the company's servers are housed internationally or something.. Will try from home later. Big Boss
Well it seems we cannot even add funds in wallet from other country. I added funds from my mobile and tried buying Dead Space 2 from US server, still got same error. Either my office is blocking it, which cannot be the case as I can purchase from Amazon, GOG etc just fine, or Steam is blocking it.
