Big Boss
They show you current speed. That is the speed you are getting. For me it is mostly my network's max speed.

ALPHA17
current speed keeps fluctuating . Yes, almost all clients do this, show the current speed at which you are downloading. The problem is STEAM due to its user base gets its servers hammered whilst other clients like ORIGIN have a slightly better time and thus, faster downloads. I have never downloaded anything for UPlay! apart from updates so I would refrain on commenting on that. Though the Pause functionality is the most shocking on ORIGIN on my opinion. The_Game
Ebgames in Australia are selling Steam wallet codes 20$ or 50$ worth. The thing is you pay AU$ and get US$ value, given AUD is about 91 cents and going down, that is a 9% saving atm on every steam purchase. Too bad the AU store has inflated prices compared to the US for many games. Edited December 1, 2013 by The_Game
Heaven Angel
Really not worth it, imo. If you buy cards, you'll have to pay absurd Australian price for each game on Steam. (~70-80$$$$) Better to get it via trading or via Paypal directly from 3rd party. (Steamtrades).
