Heaven Angel
All upcoming Ubilol games (Unity, Far Cry 4 and Crew) removed from Steam. Â Looks like they are moving to UPLAY completely. Edited November 6, 2014 by Heaven Angel

STICK3Rboy
its almost like ubisoft want me to pirate their upcoming games  Why would you even buy new ubisoft games from steam when the retail prices here are much cheaper? ALPHA17
^ UPlay!
Big Boss
^ UPlay! Steam also has Uplay. You can't escape it
ALPHA17
^ Yes but at-least the game is accessible through STEAM and it is curated so.
STICK3Rboy
So people pay almost twice the price for a game just so they can access it through steam?
Keyofx
Yea, the logic is suspect :/ Â Also, can't you add any game to your steam library anyway?
ALPHA17
So people pay almost twice the price for a game just so they can access it through steam? Â You are getting deals for ~12 -->15 keys which negate the pricing based differences. Â Also, no physical copy reaches us on Day one, might as well pay a small premium and get the option to pre-load the game. And that is not even counting the Day zero patches which are so popular these days. Also, can't you add any game to your steam library anyway? Â No, they show up as Non-STEAM games. Â And no auto-update feature for such titles. So that too. Edited November 7, 2014 by ALPHA17
Keyofx
^^ Yea, the updates can be annoying. Â I haven't found Uplay to be that bad personally (never got the hate for Origin either). I guess you get used to it when you buy retail Edited November 7, 2014 by Keyofx

Steam won't start preload for uplay titles. You do it through uplay right? And updates too start via uplay, not Steam. Not sure. Anyways doesn't matter now as games are removed from steam. It was going to happen anyways.

Keyofx
And I'd rather start a game with one client open than two. I don't think it makes sense to have both Steam and Uplay hogging memory.

Heaven Angel
Nope. Rockstar maybe, but they release 1 game in like 3-6 years. Don't think they are going to bother making new client for it.
