btw how do you get profit if you sell games at a slight loss like this?

Who sells for loss bro :D .No, i sell at profit. for Example . If a Game is 1799Rs on steam. I can get it at exactly Rs.1380 at current market trend.

Buy CSGO keys from someone for 115-120 rs each.

Sell them on market for 175-180rs each.

After steam tax you get 150-155rs in wallet

So you just converted 115 of your real money into 150 of steam wallet.

That is a 25% discount on anything you buy on steam.

So a 1000rs (steam wallet, since you buy on steam) game = 750rs real money

Now, @Madhan does all the above dirty work behind the scenes and keeps some profit in that 25% margin, let's say 10-15% so that his customers still get games at a 10-15% cheaper rate.

For someone who isn't accustomed with Steam community and trading, this method can be daunting and there are many ways of getting scammed. So before you try and do something, ask me or Madhan or someone more familiar with the trading scene on steam. :)

Cheers!

[PSA] Escrow is coming

Hey all,

Just a reminder that Escrow starts on 9th, meaning if you haven't activated your Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator, you probably should do so NOW if you don't want Valve to hold on to your items for a few days.

MEANING.

Steam Trade Restrictions WILL apply if you're using mobile authenticator for the first time, or any authenticator for that matter, you'll get locked out of trading for 7 days. (correct me if I'm wrong).

MEANING

This is your LAST day to activate any authenticator without getting poked from the behind due to the 7 day trade restriction thing.

FOR THOSE THAT HAVE NO PHONES, OR SMARTPHONES

There's always other alternatives, like an iPad, Samsung Tab, that sort of nonsense. OR you can use the Windows Desktop thingy.

TL:DR

Escrow is coming.

Get them Fallout shelters ready for the nukes.

Valve is trying to enforce it by penalizing the trading functionality. Who knows what they will do next?

From what I see, more than 90% of steam users can't be bothered with the community crap, so you should be fine too.

Also, the steam guard with email will still work as before.
