xbox 360 with reliance broadnet problem

lol. no. I use reliance broadnet too. there is a workaround for the mtu problem. Just use internet connection sharing between the pc and 360. It works like a charm. you'll need 2 ethernet ports though. (one for the connection and one for the 360)

 

@Deepak - Wireless connections (like Wimax or 3g) suck for online gaming. Just.... Dont. A cable solution is always better (be it fibre optic or ethernet cable. hell... even adsl is better.)

hey just curious to know if anyone in bandra is able to connect to XBL with a reliance connection.. I called up xbox support n they said that reliance isnt one of their recommended ISPs i was like wtf cuz i was able to use XBL 2 months bakk n now it just doesnt connect ... Im using a netgear router MR814 so I dont know if the router is responsible cuz i did port forwarding also... any help is appreciated thanks...

i used to be on XBL using the reliance broadnet, using the D-link DIR 300 wireless router.

 

you have to change a couple of settings in minimum MTU and all that, which the D-link helpline guys will guide you through..

or pc can b connected thru usb port n 360 with ethernet
