Heavy Rain

i completed the game a couple of days ago and i have to say that i enjoyed it a lot. the story was the main focus, which is kind of rare in games these days. it wasn't the most original idea but whodunits are like that nowadays. i thought i came across a few plotholes but it's not like they diluted my enjoyment of the game. the gameplay itself was okay, the atmosphere was excellent though, the noir feeling captured very well and the music was lovely. well worth playing once through.. it's a shame games like this are rare.

my only complaint with the game would be this... it has lots of branching paths and that does demand multiple playthroughs to experience how different choices can affect the game endings (of which there are a lot, some drastically different from what i got). however, the story is really a one time thing... i don't see why anyone would want to replay it once they know who the origami killer is. that's 80% of the experience gone right there. let's see... maybe i might buy the move-dildo edition when it comes out next year and give it another shot, hoping that it still holds up.

Is it possible to get "So Close", "Simple Mind" and "Perfect Crime" Trophy in single play-through?.If yes then how, what i have to do to get all 3?

Check out the Trophy Guide in IGN...... It's really helpful and very detailed.......

well..the biggest plot hole for me was..

how come ethan kept on waking up after his 'episodes' with that origami figure in hand? that wasn't explained.

also, i really dint find the game all that good. given a choice, i wouldn't mind skipping it now. :batman:

/tries out new smilies for the heck of it :dog:

I wouldn't call it a plot hole. It was something that was left open for interpretation. A plot hole is usually something that contradicts or doesn't fit well once everything is revealed.

no, it definitely was a plot hole. it doesn't have to contradict the story to be one...

they used the blackouts as a red herring throughout the story, which is fine, but after it was over, it demanded an explanation. because it wasn't some minor incident that can be overlooked... how did he end up with the killer's trademark origami animals in his hand? that is something they neglected to explain.

It was un-explained in the game - Yes.........

But it will be explained in the future in the form of DLC's - Yes.........

So, I wouldn't say it's exactly a plot-hole, but I agree to the fact that it should've been explained in the game itself........ <_<
