Viv Posted December 16, 2008 Report Share Posted December 16, 2008 i havent gone live anytime before.and my console is Core with 64MB MU,which I used just once for logging on,,and got message that my free one month gold trial is remaining...that's all i did and disconnected,so in a way i never signed in! so what should i do now to get the HDD,and what are the odds of getting the same in india,,c'mon GI!!! The only other logical explanation is that you messed up during the sign up. If you double clicked or your ISP sent your data twice (which isnt your fault BTW) you will lose eligibility. Try calling up MS and telling them your plight, make it sound like your desperate or they wont bother...not true but just try sounding convincing. and HDD is NOT FOR INDIA. AFAIR others on GI have got the HDD in the update program. But let others clarify/confirm this coz this is the first time I am hearing this. He is coming to India in a week, so hopefully, M$ will send this refurbished stuff in 2 days (that's the usual shipping time - and guess what shipping is free!) .
