I have the Play & Charge Kit for my X360 wireless controller. I tried plugging it into my PC. It tried searching for drivers but couldn't find any. I know the wired controller is Plug and Play in Windows XP. IS there any way I can do the same with my wireless controller without having to buy the wireless receiver ?

the wired controller isnt plug and play.... i can confirm tht as i faced this issue 2 days bak....

there are 2 solutions....

1. either download the drivers from xbox.com for the wired controller.... (i dont reccommend as some keys dont function properly)

2. download xbcd 1.70 drivers .... search google.... this should help u out....

-Cheers!! let me no if it works...>!!< :)

try the xbcd driver dont evn bother with the ms one....

and after installing driver .... goto device manager and choose the xbox controller under the respective tab and click update driver.... then clik "il choose the driver myself"

and then choose the xbcd xbox controller driver....

hope this works....

-Cheers! :bash:
