That's it. Bored with the game already.

It's repetitive ubisoft mess as always. Now all my mission objectives are in far away spots and most areas are way above my level. So now I am looking at long horse rides (in city area running is faster than horse riding lol) or just running through vast open world of nothingness. Then play the side quests to level up, but the side quests are absolute garbage sh*t tier fetch quests (get 7 tea cups lol) and castles are same old boring mess repeated over and over again. It was extremely fun to play as Yasuke but it got old real fast because guy goes to wanted level super fast and everyone starts attacking him on sight, and he can't climb for sh*t. If you jump in the hay he just bounces off it and hay is destroyed, and if you try to walk in rope, the rope breaks lmao. That was fun but then he can't climb literally a 10 foot wall.

I am just so glad I didn't buy this at full price.

I will play other old AC games for duration of my subscription and end it.

Such a beautiful open world but very empty and repetitive. Ubisoft needs to hire some creative people from Japan or China to make games have gameplay.

They own 16% of From Software, 30% of Baldur's gate 3 devloper, 14% of Remedy and have good % stake in many popular gaming studios. They own 40% of epic games too.

So AAA IPs will be fine.

Also since this new company is only having AC, Rainbow Six and far cry, hopefully we will get proper Prince of Persia and Splinter cell games from original Ubisoft.

Ubisoft basically sold 25% of their 3 big IPs to stay afloat.

Remember the cancelled POP Remake made in India. It is being remade all over again with a planned release in 2026.

As for Splinter Cell - there are only remake rumors with development hell.

lol and you were comparing it to rdr 2

there’s a reason r* takes such long times to release games.  Building an interactive open world is far tougher than it looks.  Even cdpr had to slog for multiple iterations/years to make cp2077 work and even now it’s not even close to gta5, let alone rdr2.  Most ubi games(in fact most open world rpg games) are passive sandboxes, nothing wrong with it though, we can still enjoy them when the main quest/characters/side stories/combat etc are good and the open world is just a backdrop !

Some side quests are really good. There are secret tombs and all.

Quests are mixed bag. Some good and some boring. Im having fun playing stealth as Naoe and now i got some cool legendary weapons build which maked her deadly in one on one combat.

This is an Assassin game man. There are several ways to assassin, you might need to look up how other play this. I've explored 3 huge areas and I keep on getting an awe like experience. About the buildings, it was the same in federal Japan. If they'd have changed it there would've been another outrage from the people and even govt.

I don't go into an AC game for variety of gameplay. I go in for how effectively I get to my target take him out and get off maybe get some valuables on the way. Playing on hard makes a huge difference here.

Open world in RDR2 maybe better but Shadows definitely more fun.

RDR2 shines in story, characters and open world but gameplay was really slow.

Shadows is fun sandbox with extremely in depth gameplay but it requires you to unlock some skills and all.

Combat dramatically changes once you get some legendary engraving and weapon skills.

He playing Yasuke and he not fun. Naoe stealth gameplay is real deal imo.

Naoe even shines in non stealth combat

Expecting GOT level of gameplay in AC game is like want COD level of gunplay in RDR2.

Some people was bored of RDR2 as well after a while.

Im having way more fun in Shadows. Combat way indepth and more variety with different weapons compared to GoT

Some skills completely change combat

Get these weapons

25 hours in, still finding new awesome looking areas, different ways to approach and kill my target. Found a village that when you go in at night something crazy happens, fortunately it was raining in my game so the chills got doubled.

It's boring after 15 hours like every assasins creed game that followed rpg formula since origins. No amount of justification can change the fact. Gameranx review was spot on.

Boring to u only.  Im never under level, im not grinding or anything, i explore using guided mode off. I do quests and activity as they pop on my mini map during exploration. If you try to rush in then obviously you will struggle.

There are some really good quests and epic moments in main story.

Game has really good boss fights too. Its first time in AC history, i died to  bosses few times lol.

Tried again today. One side quest got divided into 4 and it's spread all over the map. Utterly garbage game design. I  fully expect game players count to fall off after 15 days and become negligible after 1 month of ubisoft connect plus. And game will be on sale 3 months from now.

Hmm, how can all the targets be at one place? Neglects the reason of being an medieval assassin who has to search for his target.

There was a side quest where a group abducts small kids for ransom, they communicate via origami, the group had 6 to 7 targets including queen butterfly, the targets were all women and the assassin have to dig for more info and their location.

The game generally doesn't serve you the targets at the table so you can kill them fast and be done because you've only subbed for a month.

Yeah, it was weird but hey that made stuff easier for me. Killed all of them in one go
