Performance mode looks as good as quality but with 60fps on the Pro. And, it auto switches to 120hz on performance, gives a lil push with VRR. Though this doesn't add much, just a cherry on top. hope Posted June 28, 2025 Report Share Posted June 28, 2025 (edited) Apart from some bad lighting and texture issues which are pretty minor this is a true NEXT GEN Experience Can't wait to see how Yotei will look and play if this is what in store for us The opening was good too but as soon as it started to rain and mud started to form ahh dear me. Never seen anything like this. So life like and jaw dropping First delivery, i completely avoided fight. Went alongside the river with dust storm at the other end of the river brewing and then entered the storm and was like 10 minutes in the stormy winds and currents. Towards the end of it the sun set and milky way was seen above. Surreal experience Cut scene direction is stellar stuff. The story is playing out the same like first game. Can't wait to play more. Having said that, it probably won't make much sense anyway. So, watch it for the sheer visual spectacle, I guess. Also, if a base PS5 can do this, I don't think I need any better systems for the foreseeable future. If possible, please watch this on a HDR screen, and get ready to have your mind-blown! hope Posted June 29, 2025 Report Share Posted June 29, 2025 If you have followed the mountain trail after the quake in the opening then you have missed a true NEXT GEN Experience moment. After the quake, immediately get off the mountain and walk on the ground. It will rain in a few moments and you will see mud form in real-time, whole scene changes and river as well. Stellar stuff.
