Can someone answer this plz.. everything I'm seeing looks like it's the same

It is pretty much the same, digital world, works on likes, the more likes you get the more structure it'll appear and more people will join in your world.

You get what you offer. You do deliveries and connect

Ah ok kind of disappointing they didn't expand it. Did you try to do a strand contract yet.

The improvements in this game are focused on traversal.

They made the game a bit too easy tbh.

The harsh environments and tight inventory management from the first game aren’t there here.
Building stuff is easy and can be done very early on.
And you don’t have to walk as much if you choose to use trucks or bikes for deliveries.

But this is mostly in response to criticism of the first game. And it allows more people to enjoy.

I have multiple strand contracts and get structures and gear from them

Do the giant moon and nebula come out randomly?! Stepped out after a mission and there they were, taking up half the screen space, me and my cats had our jaws on the floor, time passes and they're no more the next night.

P.S.: There's a small part of my brain that occasionally tells me to resign from work and just play the game whole day :/

the gameplay loop is very unique so i dont recommend dropping a large amt of money on this without knowing if its something that will click with you. I recommend DS1 as its cheap now

If you want a true innovative next gen experience then get it. Its akin to Shadow of the colossus.  Not to be missed. DS2 can be played directly i think.

How is it perfected? What did they change

1) Map- Though DS1 had a great map but here the scale is hugeee. The feeling of isolation is bigger and the impact of deliveries feels much more. In Mexico which is the first level alone the scale is huge.

2) Terrain- Here its flat for miles as well as rocky and treacherous which makes gameplay so fun.

3) The interaction at terminal - It now has branching dialogues which creates more immersion and findings of the world like the musician just told about me some twin tar guys. Need to check out.

4) Options- Plethora of options to play with now. You can truly build your own world here and have n number of ways to play.

5) Combat- Greatly improved. I completely avoid combat. First mission i went through dust storm to avoid combat but its fun here where there is no choice. Sniping is too good.

6) Graphics- True NEXT GEN game in every department.

7) Music player - We have music player now. Listening to Low Roar and minus 61 while walking in stellar scenery and crisp graphics feels phenomenal.

More points but this should be enough i think
