HundredProofSam
Guy, bad news Don't get your hopes up for getting the PC version anytime soon. It won't release this month at least. Activision wants to export the PC game to India packaged. What that means is it will be insanely expensive (think RE5 and Street Fighter IV). WWC is refusing to bring the PC version to India at those prices, and they're scheduled to meet with Activision on this later this month. So bottomline - No MW2 PC version this month. When it does come, it will probably cost over 1500 if packaged in India; a lot more if imported. As for the console version, it will officially release tomorrow although it may not hit stores all over India tomorrow itself. In the big cities, you might find it tomorrow in major retail stores. peace

Karooo
Pirating now will just make things worse, many dev's don't allocate AAA budget to PC games due to less sales and piracy. Brink Dev : PC games cant justify AAA budgets. PC games. They have better graphics, better online support and, depending on who you ask, better controls. Despite all these advantages, however, the PC game market has had its death-knell rung several times, and developers don't seem keen on making computer titles anymore. Among them is Brink studio Splash Damage, a developer that has come out to say that games designed solely for PC just can't attract money. "About two or three years ago we realized that we really wouldn’t survive if we only made PC games, since purely making PC games was incompatible with our goal of making triple-A games," states SD boss Paul Wedgewood. "You just can’t get the publisher budget to ever [use] an orchestra in London, and then go and record at Abbey Road and get the best voice actors if you’re only going to release on the PC, where there isn’t the sales to justify that kind of work. "Because we needed to make that transition, I started playing console games. [i now spend] a lot more time playing console stuff." Considering this is the studio that denounced analog sticks as a poor man's mouse, these are weighty words indeed. Unfortunately, it seems that PC games are pirated to buggery more often than not (likely by people who spend their time complaining about a lack of respect for PC gamers) and that consoles are the only way to secure the cash. Things really are looking bleak for PC gaming. http://www.destructoid.com/brink-dev-pc-ga...ts-153389.phtml

The game will require a pilgrimage to Serdaristan, a sacrificial slaughtering of a close friend and 80,000 drachma.
achilles
^^ another comment. Me: Ooh Activison, MW had it’s share of flaws and was utterly overrated but i had fun with it, i’m looking forward to the sequel. Activision: *throws cold glass of water at me* how about now? Me: Well i’m cold and wet but I still kinda want to play it and I could use a new multiplayer shooter Activision: *kicks me in the balls* how about now? Me: Well i’m cold and wet and my balls hurt but i guess i’ve already put the money down on the pre-order. Activision: *slaps me in the face with it’s c*ck* how about now? Me: Well now i’m cold, wet, my balls are killing me and i’ve got Kotick’s dick cheese on my face. At this point I’m not sure if i want to play the game or just throw myself under a f**king truck to escape the shame of paying for this thing. spindoctor
You are making me to cry Should i buy from steam? a friend and i got it from steam and we're currently preloading it. if you want to play the game on the pc in india, steam is your most reliable option at this point. right now, there is no guarantee if the retail pc version will even arrive here at all. an alternative that saves you about 700 bucks is if you buy the cd key from a site like g2play.net, which is pretty reliable in my experience. the key will activate on steam anyway.
