Silent Hill f

Silent Hill f has been Refused Classification by the Australian Government, meaning it has been BANNED and cannot be sold in Australia.

Refused Classification (RC) refers to films, computer games and publications that cannot be sold, hired, advertised or legally imported in Australia. Material classified as RC contains content that is outside generally-accepted community standards and exceeds what can be included in the R 18+ and X 18+ ratings.

Censorship has been killing creativity in video games for years, and it's time to put an end to this stupidity! 😭 😠

There needs to be some amount of censorship in everything.

Games being released so far have right amount of censorship & certification I believe.

Don’t really know what’s causing this game to be banned in a place like Australia.

It doesn’t seem to have something out of bounds by the looks of the promos.

If it’s mental harassment & that too only in verbal backstory like depicted in Silent Hill Short Message.

Then it’s no biggie.

If physical & that too only in verbal backstory like depicted in MGSV.

Then no biggie either.

But if some graphic visual depiction then obviously it will have repercussions.

Censorship and certificates are important for a balanced society. Govt. should protect the culture and values of the country just like a good govt.  like ours. Fully support the Australian decision. Fk games.

Keep censorship to movies, shows and OTT platforms in India.

But if game is hurting religious sentiments or showing extreme violence, tortures, rape n all then censorship is needed. Red line shouldn't be crossed. We want mature games but it shouldn't cross all limits of human decency.

Example Last of Us extremely mature but it doesn't cross the line.  Games like Postal and Manhunt were bit too much.

Peepole becomes too sentimental over everything, if govt. leads to involvement on each espects then games and creativity would suffer a lot. It goes to person to person. If you think that game will hurt your personal sentiments then one should'nt buy. Just like violence, story, characters, dialogues and all sorts of activities. Involvement will kill the creativity.

If you don't like games then you shouldn't be here at first place.

Don't waste your time, cater your emotional sentiments and govt.

Fk censorship, long live gaming.
