ya like just two matches are left!

Heart wants Argentina to win and a deserving send off for Messi, on lines with Sachin.

Mind says France is winning it.

My Heart & Mind both say Argentina are going to win it . Loving this fighting Argentina and Messi .

Something  really feels odd this world cup.

The whole world wants messi to win

Argentina got highest number of penalties

Qatar has invested a lot on Messi and the teams he has been a part of

A lot of money is riding on him this wc ie many people will make a lot of money if Argentina wins

Some controversial decisions taken by the referee (on the pitch) and VAR.

If messi wins, Qatar gets etched inside the mind(s) of every football fan ever.

etc etc.

PS:- I really hope France wins after a fair game.

PPS- Not a supporter of France. But France as a team has been the best in this tourney. They are a balanced side.

Thats just a single run of play against a noob / young/ newbie defender.

Messi needs no validation from anyone.
He’s been doing this for the last 20 years to every top team/player all around the world.

And even at 35yo, he’s sending defenders into shadow realms.

It was never a penalty. (the first goal)

It was a soft pen, but a pen nonetheless.

Gk clearly fouled Alvarez, crossed his leg after the ball went past him and on the opposite side of the ball.

Those who say it was a penalty, maybe they know better than Gary Neville.

The salt is real

And while Gary Neville said it wasn’t a penalty, Peter Walton (former referee) in the same studio said it was Gk’s fault and it is a clear penalty. (Source

I would rather believe a former referee than a former player, when it comes to the laws of the game.

That newbie defender up was having an amazing world cup and considered as best defender of the tournament . Those who saw the match would know what commentators were saying about the defender even after this goal .
