Thats more money than the GDP of so many countries (20 odd) Check it out here IMO the design is not at all impressive and it sure looks like every dollar worth wasted - completely down the drain!! Daedalus Posted May 20, 2008 Report Share Posted May 20, 2008 so i went to landmark today, to watch old jeffrey archer talk half an hour (and sign autographs for another 2). must say he was impressive- politically correct, funny and said exactly the stuff that would please the crowd, more specifically indians. (oh and he dissed IPL) it was rather funny seeing people trying to address him as 'lord' archer during the Q&A round. on the not so bright side, this lady totally spoilt his latest book, ' a prisoner of birth' for a lot of people buy asking some questions which were pretty much huge spoilers. didnt get his autograph though since he wasnt signing any books, other than his own P.S. did anyone else attend it? I was in Pune for some work else I would have loved to get an autographed copy of his latest dude, i thought you might be around since you live in oshiwara, so i looked around once. oh and i took a copy of 'false impressions', got it autographed, put it back in the shelf and bought trainspotting.
