Aftrunner
Guys anyone in Delhi on Airtel? How are your pings to EU/Germany? Over the last few days its double for me for almost all German servers in BF. UK servers arent doing much better either but its not as bad as German ones. I'm in Gurgaon, and live pretty close to airtel HQ. And the pings to EU and Aussie servers are like 300-400ms. Heck even asian servers are like 200ms. ThE JuGgErNaUT
This is probably a futile question but is anyone using Tikona ? Whats your review ? Am stuck with Airtel. No other good ISPs in my area. Tikona in Gurgaon for a home office & Airtel at home. Airtel is good for downloads & all , but as i'm farther from a node, pings are a problem. Cust care say within 48 hrs but ususalyy same or next day. Download speed i get 700-900 kbps Tikona will drive you nuts. Cust care useless & technicians dont give a sh*t. Doesnt stay connected for more than 10 minutes at a stretch & needs to be rebooted repeatedly. between airtel & tikona, IMO, Airtel wins. sid_008
So I switched to the Spectranet 20 MBPS Unlimited plan a couple of days ago. However, I am facing an issue. My torrent speed during day time is around 20/30 kbps. Direct downloads are fine, they are around 1/1.5 mbps. Only post midnight around 00:30, I get 1 Mbps and above on my torrents. This stays till early morning around 7 AM and then back to the dreadful 20/30 kbps. I am guessing my connection is being throttled ? So is it okay for me to give Spectranet a call to discuss this or mentioning torrent speed is not legal ? Just want to cross-check as back in the UK, if I report about my torrent speed being slow, my connection would have been cancelled and there is nothing I can do about it
KyoyaHibari
Torrent is just a file sharing protocol torrenting itself isn't illegal, it depends on the content you are downloading dont think anyone can ban just by mentioning torrent.

mohit9206
^What's the speed after FUP? If 512kbps then stay away. If 1mbps then go for it.
Paapi
bhai log opinions on YouBroadbands 100 mbps WTF plan? 125GB of FUP bc if i even get 1/4th of that 100mbps il be happy I am using it from past few months and it has been ok.. Thoug do note that speed is upto 100 MBPS not 100 MBPS In reality you will get close to 50-60 mbps any time.. worse case it will be 40 mbps. The good side is that it has 200 GB FUP which is great... Also it is barely 100 rs costlier thn 40 mbps plan.
