Solitaire
Anybody here on Airtel broadband?? Using any of the "unlimited" connections like Turbo 1299?? Can you guys tell me whether your speed gets cut to half after you cross the 100GB limit (i.e. for 512kbps and 1mbps connections) for the rest of the billing cycle, or is it not really monitored?? And are the Rs. 100 worth of free stuff in Calling Value, Games on Demand, Speed on Demand, and Antivirus really usable?? Do you use them?? SOD is 80mins of 2mbps for 100rs ?? So it stops immediately after 80minutes? 100 rs per month is not transferable to the next month right?? It expires if left unused?? And the games on demand has a minimum subscription of 199 pm, then how will you use it with 100 free?? Pay extra 100?? And can the amounts be transferred between the three?? as in not use the games on demand and instead i want to use the 100 bucks on sod... Jigsaw
Airtel customer support shines: I got my new connection and had issues with the wireless. So called up CS in the morning. After going through the usual 'modem reboot, laptop reboot' and stuff I get a classic one: "Sir please uninstall Windows Vista and install it again" I wanted to climb into the phone and slap the bitch. +1000 Once when i screwed up my modem, the Airtel tech who came to fix the issue calmly said "internet wont work on a lcd" (my hdtv doubles up as my monitor) Even though i kept telling him the modem died because of a bad firmware update, he insisted on opening up my pc cabinet and again asked in a concerned tone "Aapne recently pc kisiko repair ke liye diya tha kya?" i replied "No, Why" He said one of the most outrageous things i've ever heard... "Aapka lan-card kisine chori kar liya hain" The dufus clearly had not heard of a on-board lancard in the year 08 :wallbash"

Superfrag
Ask your cable walla if he has pacenet/fivenet. Fivenet has 768 UL for 1200. I was on 5net earlier. Edited November 25, 2009 by Superfrag
