mixke
I'm on MTNL 256kbps, waiting for MTNL to double the speed to 512kbps. Recently there was an ad in newspaper stating MTNL will double the speed at no extra cost I'm on an Airtel 2Mbps line. Unlimited. Woohoo! Doesn't Airtel has some kind of download limit (FUP) etc? The Wolfy among us
Yeah they do... 100 GB. But i always come close to it, but never cross it. And best part of airtel is, no disconnections, no speed fluctuations, and absolutely no need to call up the customer care
Aftrunner
Now that MTNL have upped their speed Airtel guys tell me they can finally install broadband in my area. I have no idea whether to change or not. :|
The Wolfy among us
^^ Depends on how your MTNL experience has been?
Aftrunner
Trade the devil I know for the one I dont. :| If there was no FUP I would have been all over that Airtel connection.
The Wolfy among us
But seriously, is it humanly possible to download more than 100 GB per month? Thats an average of 3.3 GB per day. Do we really download that much? I do a lot of seeding and leeching ,and still don't get upto 100 GB.
shockwave
Trade the devil I know for the one I dont. :| If there was no FUP I would have been all over that Airtel connection. Whaat? You mean it's good or not? I was on TATA Broadband and been paying 4k per month for 1mbps unlimited line ... but their connection sucks big time. I am supposedly located in the building where they've installed their Hub, yet I have to live without internet for like 4-5days each month. Now I am finally getting MTNL 1mbps unlimited .. for half the price. I have had decent experience with MTNL, only thing was that time their connection wasn't unlimited. But I hope I have made the right choice, because frankly I didn't have any choice and I'd rather be without internet than use this f**k all TATA broadband. :/
