Which Internet Connection is everyone using ?

Using Airtel Broadband 1 mbps unlimited, speed sticks to 1 mbps till 50GB, then drops to 512kbps @ 1299/ month.

Funny thing is that mine should cut out at 25gb and go to 512kbps (I'm usually at 1mbps on airtel until FUP) and then go back to 1mbps at the end of the cycle (26th of each month). Instead this time it kept going at 1mbps till 55gb  and last night it's gone back to 1mbps despite me being well over the FUP limit and the cycle yet to end. Thank you Airtel :kisstogether:

The ping is terrible right now because of some issue that I've complained about, it's fine otherwise. Be warned though, the after sales service isn't really the best around but then again what can you expect.

^ :console:

Oh right, I completely forgot about the info bit. In case you're wondering, it really is unlimited - no FUP at all. Also, while the package itself is worth 6k, getting a new 5net connection will cost you a bit more. The total comes up to 8k, IIRC.

Thats still cheap considering I have to pay 20k+ per year for a 1mbps one, with a FUP of 70 GB (although that never bothered me).

Wish we had something half as decent.

I have 5network 2mbps plan, I asked my local service provider through which I get this connection, and he said couple of guys took this 10mbps connection but their speed was stuck at 1.5mbps. One of them even dragged them in consumer court lol. Thats why he stopped getting vouchers for that plan. So I'm stuck with 2mbps for now, only 400GB download per month :(

But yeah, their plans are true unlimited ones, no FUP crap.

Yeah thats when they said the plan doesn't work in my area.

And once you setup your router with proper uname and password (its PPPoE), everything else is automatic. Although Xbox Live lags like bitch n gives me red pings in CoD, PSN is mostly lagfree, even on wifi.
