Nikushimi
119 GB How much u ppl dowload That was just the utorrent statistic. It doesn't include the direct downloads from my jdownloader, video streaming, browsing and such. My computer is on 24/7 downloading stuff. People like me are the reason why ISP's enforce FUP on their plans. Thats still cheap considering I have to pay 20k+ per year for a 1mbps one, with a FUP of 70 GB (although that never bothered me). Wish we had something half as decent. AFAIK Reliance is the only ISP in our locality with no FUP. They have a 2 mbps u/l plan but it costs around 2.5k/month. These are the pings I'm getting
Pushy
see there's absolutely no sane f**king reason to implement FUP...teh d!ckhead who came up with FUP in India should be tortured to death...coz torture is the thing we are experiencing in this modern era of internet

Something like 100GB for a 1mbps plan or 250GB for a 2mbps plan. But the current FUP limits are f*cking insane. 8GB? 10GB? 15GB? wtf?? As far as I'm concerned the ISP's are conning customers by saying that their plan is 'X' mbps u/l and then putting on a ridiculously low FUP limit. jDaMn
I wouldn't mind FUP as much if the plans were priced fairly.I think on the 25 GB plan it works out to ~60 Rs/GB. Oh and the govt needs to up the minimum from 256 kbps. Edited February 16, 2011 by jDaMn

I am having some similar problem right now in Surat at my place. I am located in a society where its heck of a problem to get permission to get connection (Government Society) despite the fact that I have You, Reliance Broadband and Airtel connection at a stone throw distance from my place. So I had no option but to go for Reliance Wimax. I am paying 2.9k a month and getting speed of 1.56 mbps and no FUP. As far as the connectivity is concerned its perfect, no downtime, pings are quite decent and the speed on torrents is about 190-205 mbps. I'd rather live under a rock than chain myself with such absurd FUP limits. And that too for a 10 mbps connection.... you can pretty much cross the limit in an hour.
