lastAvenger
Why are you guys paying 1000bucks for Airtel's 256kbps line ? I am just paying around 750 including taxes for my line Edited September 9, 2007 by lastAvenger
CarbonCore
i think only tata indicom (vsnl) is offering 1mbps unlimited plans (limited coverage) as of now for approx 3500 bucks pm. V MTNL has night unlimited plans at 2mbps speeds. Gives you about 8 hours per night, but with download speeds upto 200KBps, you can download upto 5 to 6 gigs per night. vinitwins
and is the pricing more cost-effective than tata indicom's 1mbps unlimited plan (3500 bucks per month; can download upwards of 10gb per day) V
CarbonCore
850 Rs per month+pathetic 1.25 GB free/month for daytime surfing.
vinitwins
checked mtnl's broadband tariffs - the DSL NU 849 plan states speeds upto 2mbps depending on a number of factors - so there's no guarantee what you will actually end up with (only 256kbps is guaranteed!) CarbonCore
It goes from 170 to 210, but PSN and Apple.com have been giving me consistent 200+ which is more important.
Chaztin
First of all Xeno, YOU is no new company, may be u got it in ur city recently! m using it since almost 4 years! YOU was IQARA previously... YOU=Highly Unrecomended...especially their service, though they hv lag free speeds even @ 96 kbps unlimited! bt if u hv ne probs with connection, u r screwed, no good sevice 4 that! I watched Pehredar on ndtv or sm channel yesterday where that channel raises voice of consumers regarding their complaints to the highest possible authority, n outta 7-10 complaints they showed, majority of em wer frm Tata Indicom Broadband! i myself hv paid them since a week for 2 mbps hourly plan n daily they hv excuse for Not getting me connected, todays excuse was, we r out of resources, will get new modem to so tom urs job wld b done! hell they! btw this thread sld b combined with the internet connection thread that v already hv, no need to boost YOUs name! Oblivioner
I am having tata indicom 1Mbps unlimited.. Price + taxes comes to 3900Rs.. Atleast in my area in Bangalore i have no downtimes which are usual to Tata. Speed is damn awesome with download reaching 128KBps or more most of the time. This is because tata has a 1:1 contention ratio
