Joy
I'm getting sick of MTNL Broadband finally , with rains around in Delhi , adsl light blinks way too often for few seconds and sets back in place again , making it very difficult for online gaming. So Delhi folks , is switching to airtel a good option , and which plan should I opt for. I currently use 1mbps Unlimited @ 999pm with MTNL. I don't download much at all , so fup ain't that big a concern.

I did it , now works flawlessly

Javs
i'm stuck with pathetic MTNL who are still in stone ages and think its taboo to provide high speed internet at lower prices
dante77
^^I used to say same about BSNL but I must say they are improved a lot specially in last 2 years. I am using it for like.... 6 years (maybe 5 and half)

Superfrag
Uploads capped at 3mbps on the network, though I can get 15-20mbps up via the wifi... but THIS: Have you looked into whether there are daily or weekly limits? You better check out all the details, if you violate any of their terms, you'll be in big trouble. Also, DO NOT P2P. Stick to MU, HF, and the likes, although even those are risky. The safest option is a seedbox, but you have to spend for that. Just from my experience at Penn State, I too enjoyed insanely fast download speeds, but I used a seedbox all the time, as I know quite a good number of people who got into trouble due to P2P and Piracy. Nope, no weekly and daily limits. Checked all those. As far as P2P goes I've already put much thought into it. I haven't used any P2P application since landing in Atlanta. I use stuff like Rapidshare, Wupload and MU now and then but most of the stuff is via torrific which gets your torrents and caches them on their servers so you can get it as a HTTP download. So no P2P at all. For music, I stick to services like grooveshark (and the grooveshark downloader ).

The Assassin
lol, u mad bru? He is correct.MTNL has pathetic upload speeds & pings.Cablewallah's net connection is much better than shitty MTNL.For 340 per month,I get 4 MBPS with a FUP of 50 GB. I mainly use private torrent sites, so torrific wouldn't help me.
