lastAvenger
Airtel rocks totally. I love their service and the internet connection. I wish they introduced high speeds with unlimited b/w @ cheap cost. I dont mind paying 1500bucks for 1 mbps

MarketTantrik
As long as upload speeds are over 256 kbps, I'm satisfied with this plan. Which plan r u using Sam?
MAK
Hi Guys I have a Reliance Wimax Line upto 2mbps connection and i got these results after testing. I pay Rs.850/- for 4 GB/month download capacity which is good enough for XBL i guess...
skdMrk
I think Airtel's 8mbps connection will be used primarily for their upcoming IPTV service, as thats the minimum required speed for IPTV. As per this article there is a limit of 8GB per month!!! By the way, I use AirTel's 512 UL Plan, paying monthly Rs. 1599 + tax. ( i am on a offer where i will be getting a discount of 20% on the actual tariff of 1999 per month for the next 12 months) I get a good speed of around 58-60 kbps, September's total download was around 118GB. lastAvenger
I honestly feel that speedtest.net is not that reliable http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest?java=1 >> Go over here for reliable speed tests
Chaztin
I am on airtel 256 unlimited connection, connection is rock solid, customer support is pretty good too... till now 99.99% uptime.. impossible! If you had 1mbps connection i wld have agreed, bt this is insane! Edited October 12, 2007 by Chaztin
MightySkate
Chaz you didn't get it bro, he said he's on a 256 kbps and obviously he might have tested his speed at night around 10pm 'cause that's when the speed goes up till 512 kbps. Why don't you go back a page and check Sam's and MT's speed test? Edited October 13, 2007 by MightySkate
lastAvenger
Here's mine I have tested it now. Its 10:20 am and this is the speed i get throughout the day Here's one more and one last one Edited October 13, 2007 by lastAvenger
indyaan
impossible! If you had 1mbps connection i wld have agreed, bt this is insane! In airtel, you get the speeds around 32 - 34 kbps... so the transfer rate it is showing is correct.. considering the data was pulled from mumbai server so it has to be fast... btw one more test (day time)..
