meaNmachine
Beam, please come to Bangalore. Please. Beam telecom is part of ACT group. You already have ACT broadband in Bangalore with amazing plans. 15, 20, 25 and even 50 mbps. It is not as cheap as Beam but still, 50 f**king mbps! You should check ACT broadband plans in Bangalore Yes harjas,I agree with you...beam telecom needs to come to the metros to kick Airtel in the balls! No, I don't want Beam to come to metro cities. I want Airtel, BSNL, Reliance etc to ditch DSL/Cable and switch to Fiber technology. Fiber to the home is the future of broadband and TV (present in all developed countries) I mean why don't they, people in Mumbai and Delhi are affluent enough to afford and want these connections and will line up to get it why don't they come here Most people in India are happy with their pathetic DSL and Cable Internet connections. Beam telecom is the first in India to use FTTH technology. It will take time to introduce FTTH in Metro cities, just like India was late to switch to DSL from Dial up connections. younussm
I don't know whether anyone has experienced this or not , whenever I watch any youtube video on ipad, say for about an hour or and half , my bandwidth usage is around 700-800mb. Does it consume so much data? Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk

IshmaelIsBack
BEAM PLEASE COVER THE WHOLE INDIA ^^ THIS. No, I don't want Beam to come to metro cities. I want Airtel, BSNL, Reliance etc to ditch DSL/Cable and switch to Fiber technology. Fiber to the home is the future of broadband and TV (present in all developed countries) Most people in India are happy with their pathetic DSL and Cable Internet connections. Beam telecom is the first in India to use FTTH technology. It will take time to introduce FTTH in Metro cities, just like India was late to switch to DSL from Dial up connections. There's no denial that FTTH is the future. But in reality , by our local telecom guidebook's " thou shall be milked the most before offered new technology " rule , it will be washed away for at least another 3 years claiming a truckload of bullshit. Now , why wouldn't you want beam in metros ? Unless there's some shady customer support like tikona or some crazy downtimes I don't see why. Or are you trying to say that " If they wanna come in , come in with FTTH " to avoid hassles of switching lines for the established base later and even moreso in logistics ? Hmm , that might make sense , but not at all if you say they shouldn't enter any other metro. If BEAM enters all metros , these sad little pricks from Airtel , BSNL , MTNL , TATA and a bunch of other smalltimers will be exposed of the f**king daylight robbery that's in practice today. New providers entering the market would force these policies to be reversed ( boy , don't we love this term ? thanks M$ ) and restructured competitively.
