Want something that gives no more than ~10ms .Before anyone asks , there is no fibre here yet . Lately i've realized in COD that even if i shoot first , although I get hitmarkers , I still die sometimes . And when I see the deathcam , the opponent is seen firing at me already . The thing with airtel is that they are rock solid consistent but they are assholes wrt customer service actually being useful etc etc. Nextra has been working out REALLY well for me. This is my first month, the cables here allow me a maximum of 20/20 though my upload does regularly go till 25-35, which is quite important for my uploading videos to my gaming channel etc. All youtube videos etc stream quite well. I would suggest using a wired connection to whatever system you choose since the wireless seems to be quite bad on their router. Gaming has been quite consistent and stable. Maybe just one or two hiccups here and there barely noticable. Let's say if Airtel had 1-2 % hiccups this one has had 2-4% which is again almost never ever noticable and I've only been playing a month. I'm quite happy , and they offer you a trial plan so take the plunge! Their customer care number is hard to reach in the sense they will keep your call ringing for about 2 minutes before they pick up but when say back end engineers or managers call you they definitely know what they are talking about and aren't retarded or at least not completely like the Airtel guys. My rating would be a 4.5/5 for now. Their speedtests just aren't consistent imo but that's again on wireless, when I go wired it comes out to be rock solid 20/20 with a 9 ms local ping. Calls get dropped every minute. changed my router and still the same. otherwise normal downloading, youtube streaming is fine. problem is there even on skype through mobile on wifi. Biggest mistake of my life ....... applying for reliance broadband. Haven't received it after 10 days Dude,....i used reliance bb had to cease it....had a nightmare. there customer support is bull sh*t. Initially i was very happy with it...Rs 800 ...2 mbps ...unlimited and tbh it worked great as well...until problems started ot come up and customer service was absoutely bull sh*t. I was literally 2 months without bb....they kept giving excuses ...license issue and what not. I spoke to managers in Mumbai to sort it out and they assured me it will fix but did not. They kept sending bills after bills. 1st month i paid it after they assured it will be adjusted but it never was .... Today i am paying Rs 1685 for tata docomo upto 8 mbps( i get around 5-6 mbps) 160 gb FUP then 256 kbps unlimited....trust me it is not easy to afford so much for bb . I cant even use it fully max to max i must have downloaded is 80 Gb in a month...still the service i am getting. couple of days back i got an engineer vist to take feedback from me... i got call from there representative about my experience. I have understood why people pay higher just for good service...about 4 months now and no problem at all. One problem i faced in during night...called them at about 1.30 in night next day morning ...i get engineer call but it was fixed by then. still upto you as spindoctor here seem to have reliance and he have had no such problem ....so do ask around.
