piper
Finally getting Airtel at my place. No more shitty BSNL. 8 Mbps connection with 50gb FUP. 512kbps post FUP. They have 60GB plans IIRC, it should cost you Rs. 1400+ for the same. I'd recommend go for 4Mbps plan with same FUP, it will cost you 150-200 lesser. These are the plans they are offering us. 500 is the installation charge and will be getting the modem and a wifi router free. piper
Ah, FTTH... hence the high cost. Copper wire connection has comparably better plans
Rosh
Which is better of the two:? -80 GB per month at 25 Mbps , post limit 1 Mbps at 1400/- -50 GB per month at 12 Mbps , post limit 1 Mbps at 900/-
Monokuma
Ah, FTTH... hence the high cost. Copper wire connection has comparably better plans AFAIK we have only FTTH here. Even my 1 Mbps bsnl is FTTH. Airtel just finished all the digging n stuffs a few weeks back. They are offering only FTTH connections for now. Maybe later down the lane there might be other options. Monokuma
though 1mbps UNLIMITED is way better than the plan you mentioned. No other ISPs in your locality? Nope, no one else in the area. The thing is for downloading it's fine, but streaming and browsing 1 mbps is just not good enough. Plus currently paying 1350 per month for the 1 Mbps connection. Big Boss
Done same errors. Must be packet loss. Do a ping <your gateway> -t and check if you are getting packet loss. Do it for an hour to spot lost packets.
Harish Sangwan
Hey guys, need some info from Bangalore residents. I will be moving to Bangalore next month but will be staying at as a PG for a month of two then move to some apartment. I wanted to know what all options are available as far as broadband goes. Here in Hydrabad Beam has spoilt me with its awesome packages so wondering what Bangalore has to offer. Might even have to settle for a Tata Docomo Photon initially. Help me out with what would be the best option for a temp basis but speed matters and so does bandwidth.

Harish Sangwan
Whats the difference between Tata Photon Wifi Hub and Max Wifi Hub. The site says both work on battery and have USB+Wifi option and can connect upto 5devices, speed pto 3.1mbps. But one costs 6k and other costs 2.5k
