Black_Hawk
Been using Alliance over a year and it's pretty good and cheap. A few downtimes towards the end of the month. But for the price, nothing beats it. AND NO FUP. Good to know Alliance is working good for you. No FUP is the best part with these connections from Alliance, Wishnest and the likes. Plus there's the amazing peering speeds.
HotSonix
I'm using Wish Net. The Wish Power Super pack offers 1MBPS and upto 8MBPS from 1am to 9am. Peering is upto 35MBPS. Have to pay 1,347/- monthly. Was using Airtel earlier, got rid of it a year back. Any downtime?? Also do you log in via web page that needs to be open all times?? Black_Hawk
Any downtime?? Also do you log in via web page that needs to be open all times?? Down-times are scarce. The only gripes I have faced so far are due to small technical glitches on their part locally which were addressed and solved within a few hours by their engineers in my local hub. I do log in via their webpage and close the webpage and continue surfing the internet. The log-in webpage does not have to be open at all times but I do need to do a fresh log-in every 24 hours. Max Pain
Finally, got rid of FUP limits by switching to some local ISP. Getting stable speed. They insisted me to try 1 Mbps this month and if satisfied then opt out to 4 Mbps plan later. Oh, and Reliance sucks major balls by the way. Terrible customer service and you'd face some network problem EVERY-f**king-DAY! The speed too fluctuates every time! Very unstable and it also gets disconnected every now and then. Sucks for online gamers. And sometimes, when you recharge it online, the plans simply won't work! Recharged with 999 plan this very month and haven't got any refund till now! Had to recharge with another plan to get it work. f**ckin assholes! Better go for some other ISPs.

Big Boss
Panda is talking about Reliance wireless as the wired ones don't have recharge option. Wireless is sh*t always. I used Reliance for 3 years and it was great. They had packet loss issues for 6-8 months but that was specific to Pune. Their 4 Mbps unlimited plan is great, and torrents download at 2 MBps (20 Mbps) due to cache.

dante77
perhaps it was MTNL. In the whole 9/10 years, I never got any speed spikes. Decrease in speed maybe but definitely not increase.
