The Wolfy among us
Psn? But why? Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk Name and shame, wolfy. TTN Broadband, HSR layout Bangalore. Sad. Was a lovely ISP until now. Let's see if they unblock it anytime soon. Also, i noticed that with the PS4, if you have an internet connection, but can't connect to PSN, none of the games, either disc based, or soft, start. They go into the entry screen and get stuck in some bootloop. If i switch off the router however, it works. Has anyone noticed this before? Outlook
From the past 15 months I have been using broadband connection provided by "AIR WIRE" in Bangalore, I stay in Rajarajeshwarinagar.. close to Mysore road. I must say i have been very impressed with the service... I have faced very little downtime.. currently on 10 mbps plan with 65gb FUP (post that 512kbps unlimited) for 1k per month. I was told they use Airtel network.... Edited September 24, 2015 by Outlook

mohit9206
I stay in Mumbai and have almost finalized the MTNL 1mbps unlimited plan for 700 bucks. There is no better alternative available in borivali area which provides 1mbps speed after Fup.All companies like Airtel,Tikona, etc give crap 512kbps after fup.Even 1mbps is not enough as it would take a long time to download today's AAA games from Steam but atleast 1mbps is twice as better as 512.

I used it in Kandivali for about 3 years and it was pretty reliable. Of course now the speeds they provide are much better. 50mbps till 15GB and then 1 mbps for 799. I used to pay back then 700 bucks for 512K unlimited 2 years back. Edit: I know the FUP is rubbish but those 1-2 GB patches take forever to download on a 1 meg line so that 50megs will be useful if not exhausted. Thanks for the suggestion.I looked at the plans and its 50mbps upto 15gb for 800 plus taxes and 1mbps afterwards. That 15gb will be over in like 2 days considering my usage requirements.Did you face any issues in those 3 years and do they provide wifi router? dylanjosh
Airtel have improved their plans somewhat My old plan: Rs 2099, 2Mbps, 80GB My new plan: Rs 1299, 16Mbps, 60GB Worst part is those haramkhors don't even inform you. I saw it by complete chance. It's still pricey though, but no option here. Airtel is the only stable conneciton in my area and my parents are too used to the landline number so can't switch now. Have you tried local guys who borrow bandwidth from Syscon? I pay 3000/- per month for 8mbps unlimited. Yes it's a bit pricey, but the downtime is minimal (almost non existent) and I don't play online games, so pings doesn't bother me a lot. I also get cached/super fast speeds (upto 100mbps) on popular torrentz, Google Services, Youtube, MS servers etc.

I had a total of 3 issues in 3 years. One of them was a major outage that took 4 days to fix. Other than that nothing. Dunno about the WiFi router because I already had my own so never checked. Also personally meet or call Hathway because i think they have other plans not mentioned on the site. At least whenever I called for other plans they always sent a list of plans which were different than the plans on site (not retention plans).
