I saw the report. They have talked only about fup plans. They updated pre fup speed. Still not clear about unlimited plans.

Anyway I forwarded the report to my ISP guy and told them I'll cancel my connection and take 25 other connections that I got him with me as well. :D

Got a flyer from my local cable guy and it seems they have dropped the rates and revised the plans now. Getting 20Mbps line for Rs. 720/- with no FUP. :wOOtjumpy:

This is in the interim till they install the fiber lines which would then allow 100Mbps speeds later.

Launching on 10th Jan finally not sure where Jio is sleeping with there 100 Mbps plan but this is bad neither since they would have local peering along with no blocking of websites which may happen in jio

After 5 years of Airtel 4mbps (150gb FUP @ 3k Per month) and then 14months of Jiofi tethering, finally got a decent isp in my area. Spectra 1gbps line that they've been installing since the 1st week of this month.

Getting these speeds on mobile http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/a/3453755603

300mbps up and down on vibe x3. Laptop is at 500mbps and LAN is giving 900mbps. Had to get a new router though as their default one was giving 50% of the above mentioned speeds along with a shitty 5ghz range.

1249 per month 1gbps with No limits whatsoever. Experience so far has been brilliant, customer service is really spot on and the local installation/support staff are friendly as f**k :P

After over 14 years of Airtel Monopoly in my area of residence in Gurgaon, we finally got some competition earlier this year.

Currently have 3 connections installed (why not :p):

DITEL Internet - 1500 a month at 100mbps with no FUP

Airtel VDSL - 500rs a month (50% rental discount) at 40mbps with 150gb+1tb data

Jio Fiber - Rent free for now with 1100gb of data a month at 100mbps.

There is Den Broadband also available now with a rental of 1200 for 100mbps with no FUP.

Maybe 4 connections is an overkill

So Spectra has stopped taking new connections outside of Delhi NCR area because their bandwidth has been over utilized.
Any Spectra user been affected by this with speed drops and latency?
