I just opted for the TATA 256 UL as well, in my area they have a scheme of 700/- p.m.

Yup i was offered the dame scheme but i opted for the 512kbps let me know if the 256 is good enough XBL may be ill switch to 256 after a month..

Sure Mak will tell how it works out on XBL...

@MT

i want to try out 256 first...if its lag free i'll be more than happy...otherwise i will be switching to 512..

My current Bsnl Plan :

I am thinking switching over to 512 Tata Indicom Plans.Will this better my online gaming experience to an appreciable extent.I do lag in MP Halo matches particularly when playing splitscreen with my friends against the goras.Playing with fellow indians is almost {but not total} lag free.

Currently I am paying a little less than 2K for the BSNL plan.Anyone please suggest other better alternative Plans for that price point.Come on guys !!

I get a consistent 1.8 mbps or more upto 2.0 mbps DL out of my BSNL :thumbsup: This speed I get even when I'm downloading from file sharing sites like RS.

which plan do u have...theoretically if u can download 1.8 to 2.0 mbps then u should have a 10 mbps line and i dont even think its available in India..maybe to colleges and offices so are u talking about a college or an office connection or is this ur own

LOl i should have known i always thought south korea has the fastest connections thanks for the info(but as far as wikipedia goes it says that south korea is one of the most connected countries as in almost every house hold has a 100mbps lines though they dont have the fastest lines as uve mentioned above)

the funny part though it has no relation to this topic--is piratebay.org(one of the worlds largest torrent trackers)is also from sweden thats why MPAA cant shut it down as they did with other trackers like the "great" demonoid.com(it sounds like an adult torrent tracker but it wasnt).yall should read how they thrashed ea through a letter when ea was warning them about taking down some torrents that "infringed ea's property rights"

I have a home-500 c+ bsnl plan which says it goes 256Kbps/ up to 2Mbps, but I get consistent 1.8Mbps to 2.0Mbps (in this range, though it says 256Kbps). Major downloads I do it between 2:00 am to 8:00 am (its free between this time, download/uploads arent accounted)
