muin
Yeah MTNL can do wonderful random f**k ups in your favor. When I moved from a 256 to a 512 connection they didn't up my speed for like 2 weeks. Then when they did up my speed they upped it to 2MBPS for two weeks. It was like 14 continuous birthdays and Christmases. Then it went away and its back on 512. Now I am sad and my life has lost all meaning and purpose. dude its been more than one year and its still Christmases and birthday every day................. in-fi-ni-ty
MTNL has a habit of providing 2mb/s speeds to those that have 256kb/s plans. Didn't know BSNL had the same habit. its not like dat.mtnl offers all its plans(most of it) with speeds frm 256 upto 2 mbps.durin d day bcoz of traffic, speed is min n at night it increases.its not a goof up
KOH
Ah, that makes a lot more sense. Thanks for the clarification.

Somebody
Hi.. My speedtest result My questions 1. Is this the 2MBps speed?? ..I dont think so...am i screwed???? that is definitely not a 2mbps connection. in bsnl it's 256kbps to 2mbps so u shud get atleast around 250kbps download speed in the test. there might be something wrong with ur wiring also. 2. How can i schedule my download?? if ur using a torrent, just use the scheduler in the 'options' 4. What if i wanted to reinstall the os..how to install the BB again?? what's a bb ? Jerin ^^ answered wahtever little i knew

I just got abt 650.30kbps in amitbhawani speed testthat's still very less IMO if ur connection is a 2mbps one.... u shud get more than that even in a 1mbps connection.
