Same could have been said about CD Projekt Red before 2077 came into the picture. Also, if you are going to call every souls game a masterpiece, might as well wrap up this argument right now. DS2 and Sekiro wasn't a masterpiece by any stretch of that word. Can agree about DS1, DS3, and Bloodborne though. Elden Ring is kind of 50:50 for me - they played it safe. Never played Demon Souls.
