Rahane also has not opened for Mumbai for a long time. He played one down in county this season but wasn't very successful. Unless there is an injury crisis don't promote him either. With the Test championship points system, every single Test matters. Play our strongest team with players in their best roles. As much as I dislike Shastri, I know he is fully focussed on our Test results and not qualifying for the Test Championship final would be considered a very disspointing result. For a change Bahane and KLPD batting sensibly. Warner played well. Labuschagne has been a real find for them.
