Black_Hawk
Tomorrow's weather prediction for Manchester...
silentassassin
35 overs we have to get 209 30 overs - 192 what sort of BS is this. Match refree will surely increase the time. it should rain for 4 hours straight. Dont want a steep target on a slow outfield with 2 new balls. silentassassin
Slightly better news from Old Trafford as the rain intensity has reduced and it does seem to have gotten brighter as well
Black_Hawk
Update: The rain has gotten lighter and it's a lot more brighter. The super-soppers are doing their work. We will start losing overs from 4:31 pm local (9pm IST).
AtheK
And we have started losing overs, so no way NZ is batting again. Now better if it just keeps drizzling throughout the day...
TAZ
Really want that it should rain for another few hours and come back again tomorrow for our batting full 50 overs.. No matter how many overs we get to bat today 20-30-45 it will be unfair & challenging as well.. Or match should start by 9:10 PM IST which means 48 over game & NZ get to bat again, No DLS BS.. So lets hope for 20 overs.. We have 8 batsmen Pandya at 4 & pant at 5..

Cos they need min 30 mins to prepare the ground after a go ahead from umpire. Let's hope we can get in as many overs as possible.

If, however, it becomes a 46 over game and India bat 20 overs, the target then will actually be just about 60-70 for no loss. So another thing we will need to keep in mind.. Added complexity. Let the match get washed out for today so we can play fresh tomorrow (along with NZ completing their overs of course). Which will be recalculated on number of wickets we have at nd of each over after 20 ovs, so if it is a 46 over game and we get rain at 23rd over, and India is around 85/0 we will win. Which keeps changing in real time from there on.
Sach4life
148 in 20 overs wouldn't be easy at all, considering how slow the pitch is.
harsh1387
Either we may have a 20 over game. We can chase 148 with our line up or it should be a wash out today. Nothing in between will suit us.Sent from my SM-A505F using Tapatalk
