KnackChap
Greatest wc final ever and one of the best odi matches in cricket history. As everyone said England had all the luck today. That hand/bat of God moment changed everything. NZ fielding was imo one of best ever showcase in a cricket game by any team yet the catch on which Boult stepped on the boundary rope and that throw which ricocheted from stokes bat showed how unfair sports can sometimes be. Feel like crying tbh. Haven't even felt that way for team India 1
WhiteWolf
Really feeling bad for NZ. They made amazing effort but luck was not on their side
Sach4life
Trophy should be shared. That number of 4s rule is f**king moronic.

GunnerY2J
Yes,the boundary rule is stupid. How can you account for it ? Actually the team who lost less wickets would be better.
KnackChap
Both boundary and fewer wickets rule are not fair. They shd've shared the trophy of given another extra over to play.

GunnerY2J
stokes not attempting to run off the overthrow was great sportsmanship. (But it went for a boundary)
Big Boss
Best thing was Boult stepping on rope and then giving away 29 runs in 2 overs lmfao

eddy4823
Easily the greatest ODI ever. Bad luck for NZ but it can't be said unfair. Wickets can't be the criteria to decide the final result as the chasing team is expected to take more risks as they HAVE to make those runs. Feeling sad for Williamson. His reaction was gut wrenching to watch but would have felt the same if England lost. Archer bowled the most important over of his career too early in his life. Happy for him. Its actually the amount of boundaries scored in the total innings and super over which is considered for the result.. England had more in that regards.. True, but that four off the deflection, epitome of english luck today.

Let's not forget the fact that England came back from 88 for 4 against best bowling attack in this WC. It took a monumental effort and Stokes did it. 15 needed from 4 and he did it. It was sad he couldn't finish things against Aus in league match, but he did it here. Redeemed himself from the Carlos "remember the name" Braithwaite moment.
