Right
IPL is root cause of all wrongs with Indian team, Dhoni is still captaining the test side because he is also the captain of IPL side owned by BCCI supremo. Average players like Ashwin or Jadeja keep finding the place in tests/Ltd overs for the same reason. And then players start using their clout to get certain other players selected. SA, AUS, ENG players keep the national duty above everything else. Australia recently pulled Watson out of T20 tourney so he can have rest before SA tests. Here the board wants players to slave out for IPL, at times even allowing them to skip national duty or heath rehabs.

Right
^^ Yeah, astounding for anyone with your level of knowledge of cricket or anyone who draws conclusion by reading two words in a para. Right
Bhondu-Maharaj Sri Gobar-ganesh doled out greatest gem about DRS few days before "If you don't have faith in the umpire - which itself is a contradiction, as in cricket the umpire's verdict is final - if a player shows dissent you fine him," he said. "But now you're saying that I have two attempts to question the umpire's decision." So why were his disciples up in arms about Trott-nick, when he didn't even nick it. And can some whack R Pappu singh outta dreams he is not playing gully cricket and repeatedly taking bails off on the non-striker end doesn't make him smart. Right
we had some part-timers but we needed someone like Jadeja to keep the lid on the batsmen Perfect.

arv95
^As long as Srinivasan is the President, he will not be sacked and India will continue to lose under him
Big Boss
Even Yuvi scored a ton You mean 50? Dhoni's 99 was 2nd best innings of the series for India. If he would have got out, India would have been bowled out that day itself with handsome lead to England. He wont be dropped, but his captaincy is still in question. He has made more runs than Sachin, Kohli and Yuvraj in this series. And on England tour too, IIRC he was 3rd highest run scorer for India (after Dravid and Sachin). So as a keeper he is not that bad when it comes to batting.

So as a keeper he is not that bad when it comes to batting. I meant Yuvi scored ton 2day in a ranji game , Even rohit sharma did in a different match.. Dhoni's keeping is very good..He wont be dropped for sure..That 99 was really very good knock.. But he has to give up test captaincy..Losing at home 2 -1 is very bad..2 -1 with literally giving no fight in the 2nd and 3rd match.. This test he din pick the right team imo..Playing 4 spinners was useless..Dinda should have played..He has decent pace , so on tracks keeping low he could on have been handy.. Chawla picked 4 wickets in the 1st innings...He only bowled 4 overs till the last hour of play yesterday... P.S Sreeshanth returned to his ranji team after a long time... Big Boss
Yup test captaincy must be taken away. Either Gambhir or Kohli will become captain. Or make Sachin captain for lulz. Rohit Sharma is peaking at right moment. He might come back. I hope he does well, too much talent will be wasted if he doesn't. May be he is a late bloomer like Samuels and might come back after few years. Currently Rahane, Pujara, Kohli and Tiwary are future of Indian batting. We need a solid left hander though. But everything is gloom at the bowling front
dante77
I think the only reason dhoni is not dropped is because there is no better alternative. Naman ojha is the best i can think of.
Big Boss
Naman ojha is the best i can think of. His keeping sucks. He couldn't catch a ball properly in that Champions League match and was butt of all jokes that day. Parthiv Patel is in tremendous form and his technique is pretty good too. If his keeping has improved he is a good contendor.
dante77
Yeah parthiv patel is nice choice too, but I think Dhoni is sadly the best we got. And Poor Cook, he was not out in both the innings but given out in both. Two wrong decision against the same guy in a same match must've hurt bad. But CB says umpire had few words with him after the match. He was probably apologizing.
