AtheK
One way to look at it, but it is equally disgraceful from these guys also, club match or international match, this is as good as spitting on your own food.
Nemo
true, true. that is why i said it. just because a player comes from a poor and uneducated background does not mean he can get a free pass for fixing. A person that has not completed his education might not be smart in traditional sense but no way will he not know the difference between right and wrong when it comes to sports ethics. Playing the sport is what he has been doing all his life.

Nemo
whoa, just 3.5 lakh per month for the best players !! that too in pakistani rupee which comes to just under 2 lakh INR. with no IPL to make money in on the side, no wonder they are swayed easily. mshingore
Sreesanth is a part of 2 WC winning squads. Just the bonus that he must have received from BCCI must be enough to last a lifetime. Plus 6 IPL contracts and he still sells his integrity for 40 lakh

AtheK
Well that should seal it, but this knock has pretty much knocked Kings punjab out, i do not see them defeating MI with 80-90 runs to up that run rate, until of course RCB is totally butchered by CSK. We are still riding the 175 from Gayle Edited May 16, 2013 by AtheK
silentassassin
"We as a team take a zero-tolerance view of the situation. The RR owners and management have made their zero-tolerance policy clear at every possible moment. I am sure they will support every action taken. For me as a captain and leader, I have to focus on ensuring the team fulfil their enormous potential and continue to play in the Rajasthan Royals way. Our players are devastated that our performances may have been affected. As they had the desire to win, and this has been evident throughout the tournament. The players, and people around the team, are hurting. I hope our fans get behind us, and we become stronger as a unit, which often happens in time of adversity. This has been a tough day for me, the team and for cricket." - Rahul Dravid Fee Sad for Dravid
