Source:Wikipedia Ya, they explain that in the expose. It was because Prabhakar mentioned that someone had offered him money to lose Indo-Pak game and he had informed this to Azhar (the captain that time) and Wadekar (the manager or coach at that time). Also, he was finding out that the team sheet was being leaked to the press a few hours before the official announcement. He even asked the BCCI to ban cell phones in stadiums but no heed was paid to his suggestions. He started realising that even the Board was involved in this nexus. Well...with so many 'high profile' bookies being arrested, dont be surprised if a lot more prominent figures are named in this. Remember, betting on sports is illegal in India, and it would not surprise me if some big shots were in touch with these bookies for placing bets etc. It is not only about spot fixing anymore....with the arrest of so many bookies, even the people who placed bets with them could land in trouble as well! I really dont think that he would be involved in fixing stuff, though giving black money to players is a separate issue, and something that I believe is being done by all the franchises, as we had learnt when one Indian news channel did that expose on the 4 ipl players last year!
