dranjithk
A green pitch, overcast conditions, two new balls, and a couple of deadly fast bowlers on one side. On the other side, we have our own Rohit Sharma! I don't even want to imagine what's gonna happen in the first few overs!

Nemo
^You should have listened to the commentary. Tom Moody finally said that this is a warm up match and the bowlers are almost in a hang over of continuous cricket in last IPL. We should not judge them. When the ball didn't swing, Akram said Indian bowlers lack the pace to swing bowl and said pitch has seaming conditions. He was biased as f**k. He finally shut up when India chased down SL score thereby proving pitch was a belter. Manjrekar also said during SL bowling that yeah, there is no swing in pitch as we have seen bowling from both sides. if he was needlessly egging on indian bowlers by saying the (lanka match) pitch was good for bowling then he is a ch**t, plain and simple. but if he was giving a general observation about indian fast bowlers lacking pace and ability to take loads of wickets then he is right. and i dont know where he got the idea about "needing pace to swing" swing is not determinant on pace, if anything beyond a speed, at very high pace the ball actually stops swinging as you increase the pace as it spends that much less time in air to do its work. but that happens at very high levels, like prime akhtar or shaun tait, plus if you can reach that speed you dont really need to depend on swing to make batsmen your bitches. swing was never a problem for indian bowlers. problem was not having the required pace, like high 80s and over, make life difficult for batsmen. Manoj prabhakar had bannana swing but he barely touched 77 mph.. giving batsmen all the time in the world to see the line properly and spank him all day long. Big Boss
His exact statement was: "Indian bowlers lack the pace to swing on this wicket and these conditions" And there were several other statements on similar lines. He was very butthurt over something.
Big Boss
Sharma is playing really well. Smashing them bouncers with easy, defending swinging delivaries with soft hands, bringing front foot forwards to the pitch of the ball... *tears of joy*

Right
just heard about raj kundra.. man if dravid's name crops up i will be pissed. and sad. he is like the un curroptable white knight of indian cricket, i place him higher than tendulkar even. No way..... Dravid is not involved. 15:25 Rajasthan Royals terminated? BCCI may meet today: CNN IBN reports that the BCCI is likely to call an emergent meeting of the working committee to arrive at a decision on whether Rajasthan Royals should be terminated. This comes in the wake of the Delhi police's statement on Raj Kundra, that he admitted to placing bets on his own team, Rajasthan Royals. The BCCI is likely to discuss the termination clause for IPL and decide if Rule 11.3© of the BCCI-IPL agreement has been breached. As per rule 11.3 clause C of the BCCI-IPL constitution, a franchise can be terminated with immediate effect by written notice if "the Franchisee, any Franchisee Group Company and/or any Owner acts in any way which has a material adverse effect upon the reputation or standing of the League, BCCI-IPL, BCCI, the Franchisee, the Team (or any other team in the League) and/or the game of cricket." So both CSK and RR are going down. Edited June 6, 2013 by Udham

Big Boss
I am guessing there will be no IPL next year? If only RR is terminated and CSK is not, there will be massive outrage and political shitstorm to make sure no IPL happens next year.
