mshingore
Ofcourse they know when they nick it. They just want to take a gamble with snicko/hotspot's inaccuracy at times. And that's stupid.. That's a huge huge unnecessary gamble. Just cause its there you use it and then when u actually need it, you don't have it and then blame the system is outright stupid. DRS can remove blunders. Sadly not stupidity

Every batsman will have a reasonably accurate feeling in a nick. It is not about the sound as such but more the vibration felt in the arms. mshingore
But Dravid. Best case I can call it as a rare exception, worst case he knew but he won't admit. Or else he simply didn't nick it. No such thing as 'don't know'

godspeed4476
side angle hot spot showed it hit pad first then bat. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 4 Beta Well, the side angle was a side angle. It would not and did not show an edge from the other side. A tight decision, but fair call in the end. mshingore
side angle hot spot showed it hit pad first then bat. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 4 Beta Side angle was inconclusive.. From one end u can only see the edge and from the other oy the pad. Benefit of the doubt was awarded to the batsman. I think a snicko would make it clear. I feel it was bat first judging from where the ball ended up.. Pad first and bat later would mean ball ricocheting back.
