Chewie
so once again a player who has prob'ly played more games than the rest of 21 players on the park combined (& that includes 100+ games of rohit) wasnt able to take the team over the line against an "A" side even after he was well set. i aint surprised. we can also add Karthik to the list of players who prob'ly will never be able to deliver anything more than sporadically todays game actually shows how we would've been in chases if it werent for dhoni
Right
It should have been a comprehensive victory...but it end up being a choking defeat. Are they showing it live?
mshingore
Give the guys a break.. I know we should have won the game but as long as we aren't getting skittles out for 100 and in fact running opponents close should be a consolation. Main issue here is that they shouldn't have been let to make 298 in the first place. Death bowling still a massive worry
AtheK
We should have still won 21 to get in 18 balls with 6 wickets in hands and you lose by eight wickets.

arv95
And they lost, throw this nohit churma out He got picked even when he didn't perform. And now, after a hugely successful champions trophy by his standards, he would get to play atleast another 100 ODI's Edited August 9, 2013 by arv95

India lost by 7 runs! And yeah they f**ked up by 7 runs man. Most batsmen were in the runs (regulars of the Indian squad). They got time in the middle. In fact it's players like Binny who didn't score(being talked about so highly here a couple of days ago). But the bowling is still bad even with the regulars. AtheK
sorry i meant runs Yup sad sh*t, we just choked. Thank god for Dhoni/Virat we are able to do well in chases. How does run matter if you do not win, we are playing for individual scores or team. And i still blame churma for this defeat, he is just a retard who wants to somehow stick to making runs with an below avg performance and bad strike rate, when much more is required. silentassassin
309 in 38 overs.. Impressive batting from Dhawan , Rayudu and Raina.. I hope Rayudu gets a longer run in the team.. Coming to Rohit Sharma , its unbelievable that he's in the team..When Yuvi and gauti got dropped from the team , i donno how this guy found himself in the team.. Then Karthik played so well that he had to be picked in the 11..so what do we do , we dont drop rohit , we drop the opener and play make him open the batting... AtheK
Athek, which one you hate more, sharma or samsung phones? Sharma, Atleast Samsung phones Perform where it matters, it is just design which is not good. They top the benchmarks almost everytime, though lag in real life(that can be fixed) With sharma nothing is right and nothing can be fixed

mshingore
They'll probably give Sharma a run in SA to perform above average else he might be dropped.. As of now he looks set for SA

mshingore
Kind of disappointed Pujara hasn't been able to shine too much in limited overs including the IPL, Zimbabwe and 'A' matches. He almost looks hurried and is not his usual calm self.. Really wish he can turn it around big time..

He almost looks hurried and is not his usual calm self.. Really wish he can turn it around big time.. My main concern is with his ODI career going nowhere it may hamper his state of mind and his test performance. We dont need him in Odi's but we desperately need him in Tests as in SA only the technical ones with lots of patience can survive and make runs. Also no word on Sachin these days. Is he playing any domestic cricket to stay in shape for the SA tour?
