Yea..Completely... 48 from 4 with Watson batting , it was a RR game.. But he screwed it... They really missed Hodge.. But kudos for putting up a fight..They have just 2 internationals in their team.. Felt that Dravid should have come after Samson's wicket leaving Watson to fill up Hodge's spot. But what a knock from Samson and Rahane too And Sachin.. Played very well in the last two games Would personally love to see him come out of retirement and maybe play one last ODI series against the Aussies Rahane is looking so good. Have got no idea why he never gets picked for the National team. IIRC, he hasn't performed badly in the few chances that he got. When they can stick with Rohit Sharma after repeated failures and can give Vijay and Rayudu chances, can't see why they don't pick Rahane. Rahane was terrible against Pakistan, getting bowled between bat and pad. His footwork was badly exposed. Sharma got the chance as an opener, and has done decently since that. And winning two major tournaments as a captain, and that too while batting well does wonders to self confidence. I will be surprised if he fails against Aussies. They wont drop him... Also Rahane got his chances...Seems the situation always got the better of him.. Even in the test match , he got out trying to play a big shot.. That match against Delhi when they needed 18 off 18 and they still lost when he remained unbeaten on 90 odd is another such example. I hope he improves.
